Mepilex Up 20 cm × 20 cm is Mölnlycke’s large-format self-adherent foam dressing, providing broad-area protection for substantial wounds such as stage III–IV pressure injuries, large venous ulcers, and heavily draining traumatic or surgical wounds. The Safetac soft-silicone wound contact layer differentiates intact periwound skin from moist wound tissue — bonding securely to the former while releasing cleanly from the latter — so clinicians can change the dressing with minimal patient discomfort. The durable water-resistant film outer layer adds a secondary barrier against environmental contamination.
