Mepilex Up 10 cm × 10 cm is a self-adherent polyurethane foam dressing from Mölnlycke for heavily exuding acute and chronic wounds. Its Safetac soft-silicone contact layer adheres gently to surrounding intact skin without bonding to moist wound tissue, making dressing changes markedly less painful and reducing the risk of mechanical damage. The highly absorbent foam core retains fluid away from the wound bed, and the water-resistant film backing provides a reliable barrier against external contamination during everyday activities.
