Mepilex Up is a self-adherent soft-silicone foam dressing from Mölnlycke for heavily exuding wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure injuries, and post-surgical sites. The 5 cm × 5 cm format suits smaller wound areas where precise fit matters. Mölnlycke’s Safetac silicone contact layer bonds gently to intact periwound skin rather than to moist wound tissue, virtually eliminating trauma and pain on removal. A water-resistant polyurethane film backing protects the dressing during bathing and light showering, supporting extended wear intervals.
