Description
The Medline Gauze Drain Sponge is a 4-inch by 4-inch, 6-ply non-woven sponge with a pre-cut slit and Y-shaped opening that slides easily around drainage tubes, tracheostomy tubes, feeding tubes, and other indwelling catheters. The rayon/polyester blend provides high absorbency while the non-woven construction minimises fibre shedding at the wound site. Each pack contains two sterile sponges; the box includes 25 such packs, giving a total of 50 sponges per box. These drain sponges are well-suited for post-surgical drain management, long-term care, and home nursing applications.
