Medline Opticell Gelling Fiber Wound Dressing is a hydrofibre-technology dressing that rapidly absorbs wound exudate and transforms into a soft, cohesive gel. By locking fluid within its fibre matrix, the dressing prevents maceration of periwound skin while maintaining the moist environment needed to promote granulation tissue formation. The 5 cm × 5 cm format is well suited to smaller wound beds including leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and surgical wounds with low-to-moderate drainage.
