The LOOK 560B Chromic Gut Suture delivers natural absorbability from purified collagen, treated with a chromic salt solution to extend tensile strength retention compared to plain gut. At size 3-0 with a 27-inch strand, it is well-suited to general surgical closures, obstetrics, and gynaecology where a moderately strong absorbable suture is needed without the permanence of synthetic non-absorbables. The 18 mm C-6 reverse cutting needle in a 3/8-circle configuration allows precise, controlled tissue penetration.
