The Shiley Size 4 Low Pressure Cuffed Fenestrated Tracheostomy Tube from Covidien / Medtronic combines the ventilation security of a low-pressure cuff with a fenestrated shaft that enables communication and weaning trials. The high-volume, low-pressure cuff seals the airway during mechanical ventilation while minimising tracheal wall pressure to reduce the risk of mucosal injury over extended use.
