Description
The Dover Silicone Elastomer Coated Latex Foley Catheter from Cardinal Health is engineered for indwelling urinary catheterisation in patients where standard straight-tip catheters may be difficult to pass. The coudé (angled) tip is specifically designed to navigate urethral curves and bypass mild prostatic obstruction, reducing trauma during insertion. A silicone elastomer coating over the latex core improves biocompatibility and reduces tissue irritation for short- to medium-term use. The hydrogel surface further lowers insertion friction, enhancing patient comfort. This is a 2-way catheter with a 30 cc balloon for secure retention in the bladder. Supplied in a box of 12 sterile catheters.
