Description
Inadine is a knitted viscose fabric dressing impregnated with povidone-iodine (PVP-I) in a water-soluble base. Each 5 cm x 5 cm dressing provides a continuous release of iodine to help manage bacterial colonisation in open wounds, minor burns, leg ulcers, and post-operative wounds. The non-adherent construction limits tissue damage on removal, an important consideration for patients with fragile or sensitive skin. Inadine is used as a primary wound contact layer and should be covered with an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing.
