The Drive Medical BA9600-NP Balanced Aire is a reactive, non-powered pressure-redistribution mattress built for home care and long-term care settings. Twelve tri-laminated foam-filled air cells are arranged in three independent pressure zones that self-adjust to the user’s body weight and position without electricity, reducing the pressure, shear, and friction that contribute to skin breakdown. The 2.5″ hybrid visco foam top layer adds contouring comfort and helps dissipate body heat, while a high-density perimeter foam border maintains a stable transfer surface at the bed edge.
