The Biatain Non-Adhesive Foam Dressing in the 15 cm x 15 cm size is designed for large, heavily exuding wounds where both broad coverage and periwound skin preservation are essential. Coloplast’s Biatain foam technology uses a three-dimensional cell structure to draw exudate up and away from the wound bed, holding it safely within the dressing and preventing the leakage and maceration that can complicate larger wound management. Because it carries no adhesive border, it can be applied to wounds encircled by fragile or damaged skin and secured with an appropriate secondary dressing or bandage.
