The Cutimed Siltec Sorbact 15 cm × 15 cm dressing is a larger-format antimicrobial foam designed for moderate to heavily exuding wounds, including venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot wounds, and pressure injuries. The hydrophobic SORBACT fibre layer works by physically attracting and binding pathogens, which are then removed from the wound when the dressing is lifted — an approach that reduces the risk of antimicrobial resistance. The superabsorbent foam core retains fluid efficiently, helping to prevent maceration of the surrounding skin.
