Description
Leukomed Sorbact is a sterile, waterproof post-operative dressing designed for surgical sites and acute wounds where antimicrobial protection is a priority. The wound-contact layer is coated with DACC Sorbact technology, which exploits hydrophobic interactions to bind microorganisms physically and remove them from the wound bed with each dressing change—avoiding the cytotoxicity concerns associated with chemical-based antimicrobials. The moisture-vapour-permeable outer film keeps the site protected from water and external bacteria while allowing the skin to breathe. This 10 cm x 35 cm format is particularly well suited to longer abdominal or orthopaedic incisions. Supplied sterile, box of 20.
